Job Description

The Senior Nurse Executive is responsible for working with the Clinical Healthcare Executive in supporting the Clinical Consulting Services Team on a regional and national level. The SNE will be the front-line Nursing Executive supporting all high level, high visibility accounts including IDN’s located within their regions. In addition, the SNE will provide nursing leadership support and partnership to current and future NK customers during the full sales cycle, ensuring customer satisfaction, quality and continuity.

The SNE will participate in mentoring of any newly hired SNE’s, Clinical Solution Specialist and CCT Apprentices participating in the Clinical Consulting Academy. The SNE will remain current on best practices that help to promote patient quality and safety within Patient Monitoring at NKA.

The SNE is responsible for remaining current on nursing standard of practice, quality and safety initiatives within the field of nursing as well as the market conditions within PM Sales and will work collaboratively with the AVP and RVP as well as the CAS team during the sales and implementation process.

Essential Functions and Main Duties

  • Remains current on nursing standards and practice to support NK product quality and safety strategies
  • Supports the CHE in the on-boarding process of new team members and CCT Apprentice's participating in the Clinical Consulting Academy to include interviewing, precepting and monitoring of progress through sharing of experiences with new hire during the orientation process.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.
  • Collaborate with AVP's on high level account sales and implementations to support quality clinical processes and high-level customer satisfaction outcomes.
  • Duties may be modified or assigned at any time based on business need.
  • In partnership with the CHE, and in collaboration with the RVP and AVP’s:
    • On a national level, partner with PM Sales leaders to identify key accounts and participate in the planning, coordinating and execution of high-level, high-profile demonstrations and presentations.
    • Remain a content expert on NK products to include all PM products, offer clinical problem-solving solutions related to patient work- flows and throughput, new product releases and software upgrades/releases.
    • Remains current on nursing standards and practice to support NK product quality and safety strategies
    • Collaborate with AVP's on high level account sales and implementations to support quality clinical processes and high-level customer satisfaction outcomes.
    • Act as mentors and support new Clinical Consulting Services team members on processes such as Clinical Assessments, Clinical Evaluations, and other activities that impact organizational workflow, safety, clinical, quality and financial organizational goals.

Qualifications

Education / Certification / Experience Required

  • Must possess a valid unrestricted nursing license issued within the U.S.
  • CPHQ within 18 months of hire
  • 5+ years of experience as a Hospital Service Line Director, ACNO or CNO
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Master’s degree required
  • A valid driver’s license and good driving record are required
  • CENP within 12 months of CPHQ certification

  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to customers and other employees of the organization
  • Able to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment
  • Presents a professional image with above-average customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Working knowledge of Windows PC’s, is proficient in Microsoft Outlook email applications, and is efficient with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Office programs
  • Effective presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret equipment manuals, general business periodicals or professional journals
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
  • Ability to effectively use technology to present information to customers

Compensation

Your Total Target Compensation (TTC) is composed of a $153,000 base salary plus incentives for achieving defined business goals including commission, bonus, business objectives, or combination thereof.

Working Conditions

Schedule: The regular hours for this full-time position are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, unless otherwise stated by the department manager. Holiday, weekend, and evening work hours may be required. Regular hours may vary due to the needs of the organization or department and are subject to change at any time at the Company’s discretion.

Physical: Generally may require some reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, crawling, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying up to 50 pounds, finger dexterity, repetitive motions, standing, walking, sitting, hearing, visual acuity, color vision, and 2-way written/verbal communication in English. More specific details may be provided as needed or requested.

Travel: Approximately 60-70%

Access to Customer Sites: It is an essential function of this position to perform duties in healthcare facilities, and to achieve the necessary vendor credentialing. As part of this process, it is typically required to provide proof of vaccinations (including for COVID-19), and related personal medical information, and to comply with other criteria as needed to be able to work at customer sites. Typical vendor credentialing expenses will be paid/reimbursed by the Company.
