O'Melveny is actively seeking for a Sr. Network Engineer. This position can be remote or based out of any of our US offices. The Sr. Network Engineer is primarily responsible for managing and supporting the firm’s enterprise network infrastructure in a team setting.

The salary range in CA for this role is $130,000 - $175,000 and represents the firm’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead or assist in resolving escalated incidents and participate in problem management activities.
• Cross-train other IT staff in the use or maintenance of network technologies.
• Maintain awareness of industry trends and their advantages so as to recommend technological improvements for the Firm.
• Conduct and make recommendations on LAN & WAN resource, performance and capacity planning.
• Conduct or assist the implementation of new or additional infrastructure technology to augment and improve infrastructure service.
• Monitor and control infrastructure processes, and implement security measures to provide stable and secure systems platforms.
• Provide top-level support and ownership of network computing infrastructure technologies in a global environment.
• Optimize stability, availability, reliability and performance of networking infrastructure.
