embecta is looking for a Senior Mobile Software Developer to build first class medical devices on the mobile platform. With a passion for building products which change peoples lives, this position will develop high quality and intuitive software. In an agile environment you will be developing mobile applications from requirements and wireframe designs. You should be comfortable working with other internal and external teams. Fulltime remote work on the eastern time zone.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Continually improve the embecta UI framework and its capabilities with a focus on consumer delight.
  • Develop high quality and smooth customer user interface and experience for all users.
  • Implement an early feedback loop to enable continuous learning and iteration for ventures, products, and services.
  • Be a technical leader, expert resource to product teams, and mentor to junior developers.
  • Embrace a lean start-up approach to building and testing new product concepts for mobile apps and smartdevices.
  • Be a core hands-on contributor to embecta's mobile digital platform and applications.
  • Work closely with internal and external specialists to integrate sophisticated algorithms into a mobile app.
Must have:
  • Proficient in Xamarin framework - 3 years
  • SDLC -10+ years
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work with distributed teams
  • BS or above in Computer Science or related field
  • Strong API - 3 years
  • Proficient in C# - 7 years
  • Agile experience grooming, planning, developing, peer code review and demonstrating work
  • Cybersecurity experience in the mobile platform
  • Deploying to iOS and Android market - 5 years
  • Writing unit tests. Solving edge cases, performance and usability challenges.
Nice to have:
  • Azure experience
  • Experience creating SDKs
  • Experience controlling hardware devices via Bluetooth
  • Deploying CI/CD daily builds to a DevOps environment
