Responsibilities
Humana’s Marketing & Communications organization is seeking an experienced Media Marketing Professional to join the Insurance Marketing Acquisition team working remote anywhere in the US. The Insurance Marketing Acquisition team supports direct response marketing initiatives for our Medicare Advantage and Specialty products. We are looking for a pro-active, team player with strong communication skills, the ability to navigate across multiple organizations and deep Direct Response TV (DRTV) & digital media knowledge. In this role, you will serve as a trusted consultant both internally and externally on all aspects of your media plans with a strong focus on audience-based buying.
Key Role Functions
- Serve as a subject matter expert in media and advertising technology
- Liaison between Humana business teams and our media/creative/agencies
- Advise our line of business partners on their media plans
- Promote brands through various forms of media
- Identify target audiences and specific messages, channels, and tactics
- Create end-to-end media plans and programs that support ongoing customer acquisition and product awareness efforts
Required Qualifications
- Strong, demonstrated project management skills
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of business, marketing strategy, digital marketing, media marketing
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
- Strong, demonstrated skills measuring marketing campaigns and developing insights from analysis
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communication, Business or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Media Marketing Strategy and Communications
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal; able to communicate at all levels of an organization
- Marketing experience with a demonstrated ability of managing and prioritize a diverse set of projects
- Strong, demonstrated strategic skills and consulting skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Marketing, Communication or Business
- Experience working in the health insurance industry
Additional Information
All Humana associates approved for the Home or Hybrid Home/Office work styles are required to self-provide wireless, wired cable or DSL access to the internet at the connectivity speeds required by the company to successfully perform their job with the exception of associates who live or work from home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota. Connectivity requirements are detailed below.
Connectivity – Requirement Details
To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:
- At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended to support Humana applications, per associate.
- Wireless, Wired Cable or DSL connection is suggested.
- Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if they provide an optimal connection for associates. The use of these methods must be approved by leadership. (See Wireless, Wired Cable or DSL Connection in Exceptions, Section 7.0 in this policy.)
Humana will not pay for or reimburse Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates for any portion of the cost of their self-provided internet service, with the exception of associates who live or work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota. Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.
