Job Description
AHBL is a multidisciplinary firm offering services in civil and structural engineering, planning, landscape architecture, and land surveying to public and private clients alike. We believe that through innovative planning, design, and engineering, we improve our communities and build collaborative partnerships one project at a time. We are looking for a Senior Marketing Coordinator with a talent for writing proposals, qualifications packages and other marketing materials who is eager to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment in our Tacoma office.


What You Will Do


In this role, you will be a key leader in communicating our AHBL Mission & Vision, culture, capabilities, and competitive differences to current and potential clients, the extended A/E/C, development, and owner communities, and to AHBL employees. Responsibilities include:


  • Managing the annual content calendar to ensure equal and systematic promotion.
  • Facilitating regular strategy sessions and appropriate follow-ups.
  • Managing the end-to-end proposal/interview process from initial planning through delivery for all aspects related to the proposal process including proposal outline, schedules, workflow, and resource requirements.
  • Developing proposal messaging (written and visual), writing original content, delegating to marketing staff when necessary and monitoring their progress and work quality.
  • Maintaining consistent external activity at pre-proposal meetings, representing the firm at events, and developing relationships with clients, competitors, and colleagues in the A/E/C industry.
  • Managing leads and pursuit strategies for assigned business sectors.
  • Managing and maintaining our Deltek Vision database and creating marketing collateral.
  • Providing QC review on proposal materials developed by other marketing staff.


Required Qualifications


  • Proven ability to manage complex proposal and interview presentation efforts.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of InDesign, Adobe Acrobat, and MS Office.
  • Bachelor's degree (BS) from a four-year college or university in Marketing, Communications, English, or Journalism, and 5+ years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow best practices in file storage and sharing.
  • Able to work effectively with a team and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong marketing writing, editing, and marketing research skills.


Compensation


Actual pay will be based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. Ranges are based on a 40-hour work week.


  • Annual discretionary performance-based bonus.
  • $68,000-$85,000 per year
