Senior Manager- Data Privacy
Description
We are looking for a talented Senior Manager- Data Privacy to join our team specializing in Ethics and Compliance for our Corporate/CBS Segment in Indianapolis, IN
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Provide support and guidance to our businesses in the areas of ethics and compliance.
- Provide training and counseling on code of conduct and key compliance areasRecruits, selects, develops, manages, motivates, coaches, and mentors’ employees; provides guidance and direction on problems and issues; delegates works assignments considering employee skills and development needs.
- Lead process improvement programs and/or projects aimed at reducing key ethics and compliance risks to Cummins.
- Create and implement updated policies and procedures for the code of conduct and core compliance policies.
- Develops program strategies to address ethics and compliance risks to the companyManages Ethics and Compliance projects from inception to completion.
- Leads major ethics and compliance initiatives including compliance improvements with the businesses and major programs.
- Develop and implement the policies and processes to achieve a world class ethics and compliance organization.
- Responsible for developing, implementing and managing key global ethics and compliance programs that support the Cummins Code of Business Conduct to reduce the ethical and reputational risks to Cummins.
- Work with business units, area business organizations and functions to identify major ethics and compliance risks and develop remediation plans.

- Compliance Program Management - Develops and documents compliance programs incorporating the five strategic elements of a world-class compliance program (tone at the top, risk assessment, training and communication, oversight, and reporting) to ensure that Cummins stays in compliance and reduce risks for Cummins and its shareholders.

- Regulatory Compliance - Champions compliance with environmental regulatory requirements imposed on industry by local, state, provincial, national, and international organizations including air emissions, wastewater discharges, natural resource consumption, waste generation, spill prevention and reporting, and emergency response.

Education, Licenses, Certifications
- Strong preference for Juris Doctor
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Experience
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to persuade and influence
- Ability to relate well across cultures with a wide variety of people in a professional and diplomatic manner.
- Strong project management skills including the ability to prioritize multiple time-sensitive, complex projects and timely deliver work-product.
- Strong analytical skills and aptitude, with ability to assess risk and evaluate tradeoffs.
- Strong attention to detail, problem solving, and conflict management skills.
- Experience in data privacy counseling, compliance program management and operational execution
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Travel
- Be willing to work remotely and occasionally in an office located in US.
- Be willing to travel 15% to 25% primarily domestic but some international
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
