- Develop a comprehensive communication strategy aimed at a global audience for the CTO
- Write relevant papers (op-eds, etc) for CTO and staff members, as well as press releases
- Develop presentations, keynotes, and speeches for the CTO
- Create and manage global speaking engagement calendar
- Create and maintain any relevant websites
- Coordinate closely with communication and PR teams globally
- Develop tailored messaging according to the audiences that span the financial, technology and creative sectors
- Ability to develop communication strategies and materials catered to the audiences across various sectors including financial, technical and entertainment
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Experience working in a multinational and multicultural organization (experience working for a C-Level Executives is preferred)
- Experience organizing events (eg. announcements) as well as creating communication assets (PPT, Videos, Web and Social)
- Master’s degree in Communications or similar area and/or equivalent work experience
- Experience managing and leading a team in Communications
- 10+ years of work experience in areas such Corporate Communications, PR and/or IR for a Technology company
- Experience working with and managing external agencies
- Has broad understanding of the technology landscape including emerging technology such as AI (Experience working for an AI company is a plus)
- Good team leader as well as team player who has the skillsets to coordinate and drive initiatives involving cross functional/regional teams and multiple stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Business level Japanese is a plus)
