Senior Loan Assistant; 2-Spring Hill; 5/17/2023

JOB SUMMARY: Provides prompt, efficient, and friendly services to customers in lending area. Maintains loan files and performs lending-related projects as assigned. Gives directions and assistance to other staff members as needed. Follows established policies and procedures for lending area in accordance with the Bank and the supervisor’s direction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Maintains credit, collateral, and other loan files according to established procedures.
• Processes wire transfers transactions.
• Check off new loans each morning.
• May perform title work on vehicles, boats, etc. as needed.
• Accepts loan payments from customers; processes funds transfers as needed,
• Make calls on existing customers as needed.
• Prepares adverse notice notifications and forms, documents, and correspondence as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of Bank’s records; customer accounts and information.
• Deal effectively and tactfully with all types of calls and person-to-person contact with officers, other staff members, and customers of the Bank
• Assists in collecting financial and other related data.
• Work past due accounts as needed.
• Performs other tasks requested by supervisor as they relate to the Bank and its functions.
• Contacts past due customers to resolve delinquencies.
• Responds to customers’ inquiries as appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be able to demonstrate ability to adequately perform the duties listed above.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills..
• Self-starter, self-reliant dependable ability to work within and meet specific time constraints.
• Preferred knowledge of lending policies, procedures, and documentation
• 2 years’ experience processing real estate, consumer, and commercial loans
• Proficient with Microsoft Applications
