The objective within Internal Audit is to help develop high potential individuals to be the future leaders of BAE Systems. Our Senior Auditor must be naturally curious and analytical, with knowledge of auditing practices and robust business acumen. You will participate in financial, operational, and functional audits for assurance of BAE Systems, Inc. enterprise business compliance.
In this role, you will be:

  • Leading portions of larger audits and may lead small audits.
  • Determining the reliability and effectiveness of control systems.
  • Preparing reports of findings and recommendations to senior management, including opportunities to present to the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Examining and verifying information, records and procedures of internal and external organizations.
  • Identifying best practices and recommending improvements to business practices, processes and control procedures.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years' work experience or equivalent experience;
  • Ability to work non-standard hours and travel approximately 35% of the time both domestically and internationally;
  • Ability to interact with all levels of employees and clearly communicate in writing, interviewing and in presentations with subject matter that is new and unfamiliar;
  • Familiarity with navigating complex corporate setting;
  • Ability to conduct analysis of disparate information and come to a conclusion;
  • Comfortable with sometimes vague or flexible work which requires investigation, curiosity and analytical thought to determine next steps of action;

  • The position is remote, however the candidate must be located near a major airport
