Job Summary
Blue Tees Golf is looking for a Product Focused Graphic Designer to join our growing company. The ideal candidate will be creative and innovative to come up with unique and practical designs that will attract consumers. They should also have a strong familiarity with visually appealing color schemes and design aesthetics. Effective research skills are required to successfully research our target market and identify common customer trends.
Great communication skills are important as they will interact with other employees on the design and product development teams to effectively explain certain product specifications.
This position is 100% remote, full-time, and offers competitive wages and paid benefits.
Responsibilities
- Create designs from scratch using the guidance provided by the CCO.
- Communicate about and lay out artwork and user manuals.
- Create dielines for specific packaging.
- Critically think through a problem and be a self solver.
- Work with the CCO on product designs, brand direction, manuals, packaging, etc.
Skills / Requirements
- Good spatial and visual awareness.
- Adobe Creative Suite, with a strong proficiency in Photoshop, In Design, Adobe XD, and After Effects
- Experience with small electric or stand-alone electric devices is a plus
- Knowledge of industrial processes and standards, as well as emerging new golf technology
- Able to create custom design concepts and assets from scratch
- Have experience building dielines.
- Understand the basics of golf
- Demonstrate skills in product design with a compelling portfolio with projects.
- The ability to clearly communicate the reasoning behind design choices.
- Innovative
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to work U.S. west coast hours (PT, MT)
Education & Experience
- A degree in Graphic Design or Product Design is a plus.
- 2-5+ years of graphic design and/or product design experience.
- Experience in packaging, manuals, etc.
