Java Full stack EngineerLocation: Austin, TX OnsiteClient: VMware
* 8+ years of software engineering experience.* 4+ years of experience withJavaSpring Boot* 4+ years of experience with React* Experience with the Flask or Django frameworks is a plus.* Having a good working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.* Experience with agile development practices is a plus.* Extensive experience in microservice development.* Extensive experience with relational databases, SQL, and NoSQL databases (including at least one of MongoDB, Elasticsearch, or AWS equivalents of these).
Key responsibilities and expected “output”:* Needs to have served in a team lead capacity. Having had design responsibilities (including UX design) is a plus.* Excellent knowledge ofJavaScript, CSS, andJava, and how to write maintainable, testable code.* Must have experience with component libraries, design systems, and frameworks. (Examples of these: Material-UI, Ant Design, Bootstrap.) Experience with multiple of these is a plus.* Should have broad familiarity withJavaScript libraries/utilities, and knowledge of when and where to apply them.
