Job Description

Summary:

Create visually engaging user experiences for modern devices (desktop, tablet and mobile). Strong attention to detail, ability to solve problems and a dedication to writing clean & efficient code.


  • Ability to create pixel-perfect experiences from approved mockups
  • Ensure site is optimize for modern SEO standards and ability to implement changes based on recommendations from team or consultants
  • Great organizational skills and ability to write code that is component-based, responsive and clear to understand.
  • General understanding of PHP, Javascript, Vue, React, Liquid and other languages or a willingness to learn basics when working with team
  • Required Qualifications: Transforming complex layout mockups into pixel-perfect presentations with HTML5/CSS3/Javascript
  • Ensure new and existing functionality on website is fully responsive and functional across all devices
  • Rebuild existing pages and refine areas throughout the site on an ongoing basis
  • Proven experience and portfolio of modern front-end web development and deployment
  • Experience with CMS and eCommerce platforms such as Wordpress (preferred), Shopify (preferred), Magento, and/or BigCommerce.
  • Strong talent for design and UX with an eye for detail
  • Ability to use analytics and other research driven data to diagnose problems and propose improvements
  • Dedication to understanding and improving the overall customer journey and experience at all times
  • Understanding of analytics and SEO practices
  • Ability to create wireframes or work with team to communicate UX needs and solutions
  • Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Design, build and test the front end of new pages and web interfaces (both internal and user-facing)
  • Demonstrate great problem-solving skills with dedication on engineering the best possible end-user
