Senior Financial Analyst - $110,000 – 130,000 + 10% bonus – Remote

We are hiring for a Senior Financial Analyst for a Shared Services company within the USA. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial planning and analysis activities within the organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive financial analysis experience and preferably an accounting background, enabling them to deliver accurate and insightful financial recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

This is a high-visibility role, seeing you lead Financial Planning and Analysis activities for a global company – experience with multiple entities/verticals is a must!

The Job:

• Cost Analysis: Analyze costs and expenses across different departments and projects to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
• Planful Administration: Demonstrate proficiency as an administrator for Planful (formerly Host Analytics), using the platform to streamline financial planning processes and optimize data accuracy and integrity.
• Ad-hoc Projects: Undertake special financial projects and initiatives as assigned by the Finance Director or CFO.
• Budget Cycle Management: Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with company-wide financial objectives. Monitor and report on budget performance throughout the year, addressing any deviations from the plan.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial analyses, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling. Utilize historical data and industry trends to identify key performance drivers and provide valuable insights to the management team.
• Forecasting and Scenario Planning: Develop accurate financial forecasts and conduct scenario planning to anticipate potential financial outcomes under different market conditions.
• Business Partnering: Collaborate with different departments and business units to understand their financial needs, provide financial guidance, and assist in decision-making processes.
• Multiple Verticals: Work with financial data across various business verticals within the organization. Understand the unique challenges and opportunities presented by each vertical and provide tailored financial analyses and recommendations.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports for senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key metrics, financial trends, and areas for improvement. Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience (typically 5+ years) as a Financial Analyst, with a strong background in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis.
• Previous experience working in a company with multiple business verticals or diverse operations.
• Ideally a Finance degree or similar
