Position Overview

The Senior Epic ClinDoc and Long-term Care Application Analyst supports the mission of OCHIN though complex configurations to support the Epic applications within the Epic electronic health record (EHR) software for our member clinics. This role consults with members and internal staff to provide solutions that offer accurate, secure, and efficient workflows, with a focus on quality financial outcomes for our member organizations.

Essential Duties

  • Provide process improvements within your application or team.
  • Perform complex build and configuration in Epic and related products.
  • Project Managers in identifying system capabilities.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on applications across the organization.
  • Travel to support new member off-site Go Live software installations as needed.
  • Document build specifications, team processes and complex clinic workflows.
  • Lead trainings and workgroups for members.
  • Provide support to inpatient clinic staff with the potential need for after-hours/ on-call support.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Discuss and provide workflow solutions and ensure understanding of the system through hands on training.
  • Provide elbow support to clinic staff during Go-Lives and Dress Rehearsals as needed.
  • Collaborate with members from other OCHIN teams to address integration issues.
  • Lead working sessions with OCHIN members to resolve advanced and complex integration work orders.
  • Operate in OCHIN’s Member Care Team framework as a key contributor to the overall goals of the team support model.
  • Develop and share workflow best practices.
  • Build, design, test, and document functionality of new system features.
  • QA complex builds, Quarterly Update (SU) modifications, and other work orders.
  • Lead and mentor other analysts on complex interdepartmental project work.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 applicable Epic certifications/proficiencies required in ClinDoc and Long-term Care/LTC.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and solution oriented.
  • Process and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on data-driven decision making.
  • Experience with full-cycle Epic implementation build is highly desired.
  • Work history in Healthcare IT is required.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (Healthcare Informatics or Computer Science preferred) or a combination of college education and 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  • The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience as an Epic Applications Analyst, with a minimum of 3 years of build experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar or relevant role.
  • Consistently acts with integrity and accountability.
  • Strong communication skills – able to communicate with both application and technical team members, as well as end users.

Work Location and Travel Requirements

  • Travel will be required up to 25% nationally for on-site Go Live support based on business requirements for OCHIN

Base Pay Overview

The typical offer range for this role is minimum to midpoint ($116,786), with the midpoint representing the average pay in a national market scope for this position. Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will consider a wide range of factors directly relevant to this position, including, but not limited to, skills, knowledge, training, responsibility, and experience, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
