As a Senior Downstream Marketing Associate on Stryker's Sports Medicine team, you will be responsible for the implementation and execution of key marketing initiatives as outlined by strategic planning and business imperatives. You will support our salesforce and our customers on launching and commercializing new products to the portfolio as well as sustaining and growing Stryker’s presence in the market with our current Hip portfolio. This is an onsite position in Greenwood Village, CO.

What you will do

  • Responsible for setting price and maintaining product or portfolio margin
  • Support in the construction of the marketing plan with specific analysis and collaborate in the development of key strategic initiatives
  • Understand the different marketing channel strategies and associated business implications
  • Understand key competitors and their relative strengths/weaknesses
  • Track and report results/KPIs to leadership and sales
  • Prioritize marketing initiatives appropriately given product or portfolio goal and metric
  • Apply market data, uses planning tools, and seek expert opinions when analyzing channel strategies
  • Is the subject matter expert for applicable products/product lines and able to field technical questions. [note: some products are more technical than others and will take longer to get to SME status]
  • Assess business/sales trends and communicate to key stakeholders responsible for production
  • Work proactively with market research to collect customer insights for segmentation
  • Responsible for product or portfolio's targeting and positioning
  • Advocate on the customer's behalf and influence product or portfolio changes based on customer feedback
  • Partner with Marketing Communications to develop a communications approach for the product or portfolio
  • Understand customer groups, including why customers buy the product or service
  • Incorporate new products into ongoing sales/medical education curriculum

What you need

  • 2+ years of work experience required
  • 2+ years medical device or marketing experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree, require
  • MBA preferred
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills
