POSITION SUMMARY:
Works with the VP/CPSQO to support the goals of Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital while working with patients and their families to eliminate preventable harm, continuously improve patient outcomes and patient/family experience; and to support efforts to reduce waste/cost in health care delivery. Supports the overall planning and direction of JHACH external reporting to achieve national leader performance in quality indicators across all entities to improve patient care outcomes, minimize financial risk related to pay for performance programs and to ensure the highest performance to strengthen the JHACH brand. Works collaboratively with the leadership team, clinical departments and services across JHACH to develop innovative measures to analyze and report on JHACH performance regarding quality and safety of care.
Work Location: St. Petersburg, FL
Work Hours: 8a-5p
QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's Degree in healthcare/business administration or related field
10 years of experience in a health care setting
10 years of management experience
Knowledge and experience in quality improvement including process improvement, regulatory environment, external agencies, healthcare delivery, public reporting, pay for performance
Demonstrated experience improving hospital quality and decreasing risks based upon application of theory and applying performance metrics
