YOUR MISSION

  • Act as a key liaison with external partners, managing relationships and evaluating opportunities to enhance the online merchandising and content ecosystem.
  • Create a data-driven culture, propelling team to exploit data, reporting and dashboards to allow insight to inform action
  • Stay up to date with competitive landscape, industry trends and other merchandising/content opportunities.
  • Partner and collaborate with global functions to deliver on channel priorities, evolved ways of working and go-to-market strategies to achieve business goals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, merchandising and planning to develop and execution cohesive go-to-market plans that support brand objectives and channel commercial targets
  • Develop strategic roadmap, partnering with product teams, to build and enhance features that improve navigation, discoverability and conversion across the site.
  • Strategically lead our end-to-end execution of online merchandising activities including product launches, seasonal stories, product and brand content, promotions and partnering to exploit product opportunities to create compelling experiences.
  • Oversee our Marketplace business and team to manage and execute off-site trading performance
  • Lead and manage of team of 10+ people across online visual merchandising, content, copywriting and operations disciplines, stinger a culture of high performance, innovation and collaboration.
  • Develop innovative test and learn approach to continually enhance performance and remain at forefront of new opportunities.

YOUR TALENT

  • Ability to collaborate broadly with a flexible, positive attitude and ability to influence and get desired results.
  • University degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Understanding of ecommerce and marketplace landscape with a strong view on increasing sales, margin and conversion along entire consumer journey.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage subordinates, work with internal colleagues, and manage external vendors through a positive, collaborative, and transparent inter-personal approach.
  • Experience managing budgets, vendor partnerships and negotiating contracts.
  • 10 + years’ experience within eCommerce and/or digital, 5+ years’ experience leading teams, 5+ years’ experience in online merchandising.
  • Proven ability to understand and optimize business process across complex operations and being creative problem solver.
  • Preferred experience in SalesForce and APP
  • Web analytics: GA, Content square, or other equivalent eCommerce tools
  • Strong business acumen and analytical abilities with focus on delivering insight that drive business improvements and outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, “self-starter” environment serving as a catalyst for change and managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and focused on quality control and execution efficiency.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; for example demonstrated through operational reporting and presentations in a business context.
