Advent Health Respiratory and Equipment (AHRE) is a leader in providing ventilators, oxygen, sleep apnea treatment, wound care solutions, diabetic solutions and home medical equipment. A unique joint venture partnership between Advent Health and CarepathRx, AHRE has the unique opportunity to grow significantly as we expand to serve Advent Health’s expanding footprint of facilities and services throughout Florida.
The Senior Director of Durable Medical Equipment Business Development owns sales and business development for AHRE. Managing a staff of salespeople, including a manager, this role will be a critical part of the executive leadership team for AHRE. This role will also be responsible for face-to-face sales calls establishing and maintaining relationships with doctors, hospitals, sleep labs, wound clinics, skilled nursing facilities, home health agencies and other referral sources in the medical community. In addition, the role will be expected to meet or exceed your monthly sales quota, continually educate clients and market our services, respiratory equipment and medications to new prospects. The Senior Director of Durable Medical Equipment Business Development works with the entire executive team to develop and execute specific strategies to achieve sales, customer satisfaction and profitability goals.

Compensation includes a competitive base salary, a highly lucrative commission plan, Car and Mileage reimbursement, company cellular phone, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

  • Educates referral sources on the use and application of AHRE products and services
  • Maintains the highest level of customer satisfaction by resolving and following up on customer concerns
  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains sales staff

  • Building and sustaining long-term partnerships with various departments within Advent Health that will support sales efforts
Skills & Abilities
  • Internet navigation and research
  • Microsoft applications; Word and Excel
  • Proven track record of sales strategy and execution, particularly within a health system dynamic
  • Office equipment; fax machine, copier, printer, phone and computer / tablet
  • Understanding use of all applicable home medical equipment and supplies
  • Email transmission and communication
  • Work experience in Durable Medical Equipment, including respiratory, sleep, and orthopedic devices
Qualifications
  • Four-year college degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in respiratory or medical sales leadership
