The Position


The Senior Data Engineer will be tasked with developing and implementing an optimized data pipeline architecture and transforming data from a variety of sources into actionable insights using the Microsoft Azure platform.


The primary responsibilities are:


  • Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain data engineering solutions and pipelines.
  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.


Data Engineering requirements:


  • Experience with data integration through APIs, web services, SOAP, and/or REST services using ETL/ELT tools such as SSIS, Azure Data Factory, and Airflow.
  • BS in Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of extensive, hands-on experience designing and implementing distributed data architecture for BI and OLTP systems.
  • 5+ years of expertise designing and developing scalable big data and machine learning products using Azure Data Lake Gen2 and Azure Databricks.
