Senior Audit Associate Jobs

A public accounting firm in the Philadelphia area is looking to add senior audit associates to their team. This firm focuses on a variety of clients, including closely held businesses, construction, real estate, employee benefit plans, and healthcare organizations.

The organization is open to hiring people who are located on the east coast.

Responsibilities

• Planning and executing audits, reviews, and compilations for a variety of small business and nonprofit entities. This includes single audits and pension plan audits.
• Successful team members are self-starters, who effectively and efficiently manage their workload in order to complete assigned tasks/engagements on a timely basis and within project scope and budget
• They have in-depth technical knowledge within their discipline and stay current on changes
• They contribute to the team by handling challenges in a positive, professional manner, effectively managing the demands of deadlines, contributing new ideas, and mentoring staff accountants

Qualifications

• CPA certification or evidence of working towards certification
• 3-5 years of public accounting experience
• Knowledge of GAAP and GAAS
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively with clients and other professionals
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Proficient computer skills in accounting work paper systems, and MS Office products
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
