Job Description

FGS Global (FGS), a leading strategic communications and government relations firm, is seeking a business professional to join the firm’s Corporate Operations Division working with the firm's Contracts team. This position is based in our Washington, D.C. office.


Responsibilities

  • Distribute critical client information from contract documents to account teams to ensure that client projects are managed in accordance with contracts; create summary sheets (contract cheat sheets) for account teams if necessary
  • Prepare requested materials for senior or divisional staff meetings
  • Serve as point person and work closely with divisional staff, clients and subcontractors to develop and finalize contract documents
  • Provide guidance to account teams in their completion of client and subcontractor onboarding processes
  • Maintain and manage contract milestones and relay billing details to MD of Contracts, Associate Director of Contracts, Accounting and Finance in contract and billing management system
  • Work with Accounting to review monthly subcontractor/vendor fees for accuracy and compliance with contracts and FGS policy

People Development

  • Assist in training of divisional staff on internal systems and procedures as it relates to contracts and client and subcontractor onboarding

  • Prior experience and proficiency in Word and using “Track Changes” to edit and update documents is required

  • Follows through on projects; handles multiple tasks at a time; accomplishes assignments quickly when required and on time; Works well on tight schedules
  • Possess advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, as well as efficient skills in Zoom, Slack, and Teams preferred

  • Have strong time management skills, with the ability to follow through on multiple projects and handle multiple tasks with close attention to detail
  • Possess strong communication and analytical skills and ability to synthesize data for audiences at all levels of the organization and its clients in both oral and written form
