SENIOR ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER

Amenta Emma is seeking a senior architectural designer to join our Hartford office. Candidates must have excellent verbal and graphic presentation skills. Candidates will have the opportunity to contribute to project teams in collaborative work environments.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Prepare presentations for active projects, marketing pursuits, or internal research
  • Develop space planning, site design, and building massing studies in compliance with code, zoning, and budget constraints
  • Conceptualization and development of design ideas, generate diagrams, digital models, interior and exterior renderings, and presentation materials

Experience and Qualifications

  • Very efficient with the following design skills & software:
    • 3D Modeling (SketchUp and/or Rhino)
    • Rendering – Lumion
    • Post-processing – Photoshop
    • Presentations – InDesign
  • Rendering – Lumion
  • A professional degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
  • Post-processing – Photoshop
  • 3D Modeling (SketchUp and/or Rhino)
  • Presentations – InDesign
  • Experience with multifamily, institutional, or commercial design preferred
  • 15+ years of professional experience
  • Site design and zoning analysis capabilities preferred
  • Strong verbal and graphic presentation skills
