ROLE SUMMARY:


The Sr. Analyst Commercial Planning and Analytics is responsible for developing enterprise planning inputs, analyzing business trends, and framing strategic decisions for senior leadership.


  • Perform ongoing review of data to ensure integrity and proactively identify opportunities for improvements.
  • Collaborate cross functionally (Category Management, Marketing, Finance, Demand, Sales Planning, and Operations) to drive improved organizational decision making.
  • Develop a fact-based commercial forecast utilized in the Integrated Business Management (IBM) process.
  • Builds key reporting and visualizations for use in IBM process in support of key decision making to steer the US commercial plan.
  • Drive improved accuracy in data reconciliation to inform short-term tactical execution and long-term strategy business planning needs.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Collaborate with Category Management teams to develop high probability risks and opportunities based on in-market performance, and customer space planning changes.
  • Review Demand and Sales forecasting, identify disparities, seek fact-based resolution.
  • Lead content development and facilitate discussion at IBM meetings.
  • Provide perspective on long term item viability as part of the portfolio optimization process.
  • Analyze customer supply chain reset information, quantify plan impact, and develop fact-based implications and insights.
  • Own the net distribution component of the US Commercial Plan, developing monthly consensus forecast as part of the IBM process, and ensure effective communication of insights across the organization.


QUALIFICATIONS:


Education: Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred


Experience:


  • Understanding of the P&L, building blocks, mix implications, and growth levers
  • Strong writing and oral communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with agility and managing/prioritizing multiple asks
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • 2-4 years of experience in Finance, Marketing, Sales, Category Management, Analytics, or Demand Planning
