Position Summary:

The Security Technology Analyst will be responsible for providing support of the secure coding program in line with strategic and tactical goals. S/he will perform security testing on BBH and vendor applications to drive vulnerability remediation and reduce risk across the firm.
Responsibilities include:
  • Provide support for the identification of application security issues and working closely with application development and security teams to fix issues.
  • Coordinate with development teams to ensure closure of reported vulnerabilities by explaining the ease of exploitation and impact of the issue.
  • Apply knowledge of application information security.
  • Identify technical opportunities and risks to improve the overall security, quality, and resiliency of applications in partnership with other Development/Systems leaders.
  • Perform security testing and analysis to assess application risk.
  • Research and evaluate new technologies/tools and software products to determine feasibility and desirability of incorporating their capabilities in line with the technology strategy of the organization.
  • Utilize strong knowledge of architectural principles, frameworks, design patterns, and industry best practices for design and development.
Candidate Qualifications include:
  • Identifying and remediating OWASP Application Vulnerabilities
  • Conducting manual and automated static code analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented environment, as well as strong independent operation skills.
  • Eager to expand knowledge and explore Security and Cyber related certifications.
  • Using JIRA to track the status of Security assessments
  • Proactive and results-oriented.
  • 1+ years related work experience with a studied background in Technology, Infrastructure, Security, Compliance, Oversight preferred.
  • Experience in using other security tools like Burpsuite, NMAP, Zed Attack Proxy, Grendel
  • Excellent record keeping and organizational and communication skills required
  • Ability to work in high energy and visible environments.
  • Creative and effective problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Open Source and Static and Dynamic Vulnerability Scanners
  • BA/BS degree, and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with the following preferred:
    • Open Source and Static and Dynamic Vulnerability Scanners
    • Conducting manual and automated static code analysis
    • Using JIRA to track the status of Security assessments
    • Identifying and remediating OWASP Application Vulnerabilities
    • Experience in using other security tools like Burpsuite, NMAP, Zed Attack Proxy, Grendel
  • Collaborative, diplomatic, and objective approach to problem solving.
