Thursday-Monday

8:00AM-4:00PM

$19.30 AN HOUR

Job Purpose or Objective(s): Responsible for the protection of all property of Choctaw Casinos and for ensuring policies and procedures are followed as applicable.

Primary Tasks:

  • Access and retrieve computerized data.
  • Investigates unusual or suspicious situations.
  • Assists with emergency situations.
  • Maintain security and procedures according to rules.
  • Patrols internal and external company property
  • Possesses a thorough knowledge of company regulations and procedures.
  • Maintain log book of all activity occurring on a daily basis.
  • Operates firefighting equipment and short-wave radio, and administer CPR and first aid.
  • Write incident reports regarding all security issues, accidents, theft, or vandalism and submit to the Security Supervisor.
  • Refers dangerous situations or complex problems to supervisor.
  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM

  • Able to qualify yearly with department firearms
  • Must be medically fit and able to perform all of the essential functions of a Security Officer and pass a physical fitness test.
  • Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
  • Basic Computer skills to enable report writing, composition or correspondence, Internet and email.
  • At least of 21 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Ability to reason and react calmly and quickly in emergency and life threatening situations.
