SECURITY-PITHourly Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs specific security duties as outlined by the Security Department policies and procedures to ensure the protection of all company assets as well as the safety and welfare of guests and team members.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• All other duties as assigned Qualifications: (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
• Prepares reports as required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Security Officer I will work Events where underage guests may be present on the second floor. This position will monitor and maintain a visual of the underage guests while attending the event.
• Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process
• Ability to be a TEAM player
• Security Officer I will patrol the garage and the perimeter of the property to ensure the safety and security of guests and team members.
• Security Officer I will be utilized for both indoor and outdoor events in non-gaming areas. This includes, but not limited to: Restaurants, Banquet Rooms, Event Centers, and other non-gaming areas on Rivers Casino Pittsburgh property.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays
• Security Officer I will patrol/be posted in non-gaming areas of the casino and The Landing Hotel to ensure the safety and security of guests and team members and to provide crowd control services.
• Security Officer I will be asked perform bag searches, pat-downs, and operate a metal detector
• Assist in the implementation of emergency procedures.
• Security Officer I will assist patrons and team members with disabled vehicles, traffic, and other duties as assigned.
• Knowledge in various computers programs including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred.
• Ability to communicate with Team members and guests
• Must be able to walk, run, stand, kneel, stretch, push, pull and pull weight for a full 8 hour shift
• This position will work outside and in non-gaming areas of the facility. This position will not work on the gaming floor, in restricted areas, or in a capacity that provides security for gaming assets.
• Casino hotel experience preferred
• Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing
• Handles patrons inquires and complaints and will solicit the support of a PGCB Licensed Security Supervisor as necessary. Security Officer I will not resolve gaming related complaints.
