Want to be part of protecting the annual Pittsburgh Three Rivers Arts Festival?

We are seeking Temporary Festival Security Officers for various duties during the Pittsburgh Three Rivers Arts Festival. Security Officer candidates will need to be able to reach Downtown and be comfortable with walking upwards of 10,000 steps each day outside. This assignment will last from June 1st - June 15th.

Typical shift will be 5-6 hours long

Pay: $20 per hour

Responsibilities may include:

• Immediately notify the Supervisor of any incidents of crime or other activities of a significant nature impacting the festival
• Remain vigilant for acts of theft, civil disturbance, suspicious activity, public disorder, and non-compliant COVID practices
• Closely monitor the festival security radio channel
• Follow proper COVID safety practices at all times
• Provide needed breaks to festival Security Officers as assigned by the Supervisor
• Provide support to festival guests, staff, vendors, and volunteers as needed in a friendly professional and customer-centric fashion

Job Requirements:

• Must be available to work weekends
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be able to pass a drug screen
• Must have a clean criminal background
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must have the ability to speak, read, and write clearly in English
