Pocono Mountain Villas by Exploria is now hiring a full-time Security Guard.

$15.00 per hour, Full Time.

Position is responsible for the patrol of Pocono Mountain Villas property for the purpose of prevention, protection, early detection, or assistance. Answering burglar/intrusion, panic, fire, gas or other alarms as needed or requested on property.

Days/Shifts/Week

Must be able to work overnights and be flexible with schedule. Weekends are a must as well as Holidays.

WORK EXPERIENCE: (necessary or helpful for the position)

Previous experience in private security, law enforcement, or military service is helpful.

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS (functions that must be done in job)

• Manning the Central Dispatch center. This includes monitoring radios, answering phones, directing callers to the proper extension, monitoring the alarm system and monitoring the CCTV system.

• Checking, patrolling and securing the properties during shift, including activating and reactivating alarm systems for buildings and/or other structures as necessary
• Patrol of resort property for the purpose of prevention, protection, early detection, or assistance.

• Responsible for special projects or assignments for various areas as assigned by the Supervisor of the Department or Resort Management.

• Answering burglar/intrusion, panic, fire, gas or other alarms as needed or requested on property.
• Proper preparation and submission of all Incident Reports according to standard operation procedures by the company, including proper form use, timeliness, and proper documentation format.
• Take responsibility for key control when manning the Central Dispatch center, which includes signing keys in and out to other employees on property.
• Investigation assignments as necessary and assigned by the Supervisor.

Must be able to work flexible shifts to include AMs, PMs, Weekends and Holidays, based on business demands.
