Job Description

You'd be joining a team focused on healing our communities


Acenda is an integrated health care agency dedicated to industry-leading prevention, treatment and wellness services compassionately delivered to ensure that every individual, family and community achieves their greatest potential.


What you'll do: Security personnel oversee the safety of Acenda's residents, clients, staff and visitors and patrol all areas of buildings and grounds. Duties include but are not limited to:


  • Demonstrating professional responsibility.
  • Monitoring cameras and patrolling assigned grounds on foot and/or in a vehicle (as applicable).
  • Alerting supervisor of safety concerns.
  • Work cooperatively with staff, residents, clients, visitors and the community.
  • Checking to ensure that all exterior doors are locked and that Agency vehicles are locked and secure.
  • Adhering to performance standards based on completion of all paperwork, including daily log and incident reports, in a professional manner with the designated time frames; including mandated reporting requirements (as applicable).
  • Conducting case safety risk assessments.

What You'll Bring To The Team


  • Professionalism and a commitment to excellence in care
  • Schedule flexibility to accommodate evening, overnight, weekends and holiday shifts.
  • Experience in law enforcement
  • Working knowledge of technology, including but not limited to email, online training, basic word processing, etc.
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, and an acceptable driving record
