Summary You will serve as a SECURITY ASSISTANT in the COMMANDER SECURITY OFFICE of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. DUTY STATION: Patuxent River, MD Responsibilities You will process simple records, forms or administrative reports and correct deficiencies. You will receive visitors and/or telephone calls, refers caller to correct person if unable to respond to inquiry. You will file reports/documents using multiple filing systems; cross-referencing as required. You will perform administrative duties as assigned in order to perform as Branch?s Operations Officer. You will be able to stand post, step in as Chief of the Guard, or perform as a Lead Guard as manning dictates. You will perform Physical Security Surveys as required in order to complete 10% of the Command?s current facilities. You will coordinate the Branch's CAC Pin Re-set services as needed. You will perform access control and swipe access duties as required. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-5/6 grade level or DG-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Carry out well-defined, structured tasks in support of security specialists, Access Control, and established security programs;
  • Write and maintain watch bills, support the DPMAP process, write Standard Operating Procedures, Pre-Planned Responses, Post orders, maintain and update Guard Branch's Shared Documents, Teams files, weekly briefings.
