Location: LaGuardia Airport
Shift: 9:00am-5:00pm
Pay: $25.00- $36.00/Hr.-Depending on experience
We are seeking a Security Administrator to support the Terminal Operations team at LGA. The security administrator will support the terminal operations team with the day-to-day operation and administration of the terminal's access control and CCTV system functions. The security specialist is responsible for performing reporting, administrative and audit functions, inclusive of issuing and managing security passes, as required and assigned by the operations team in support of Delta's security operation at LaGuardia Airport.
Primary Function
Provide, monitor, and manage access for airport employees, vendors, and contractors working within the terminal for new badge activations and renewals.
Assures compliance with all governing corporate standards and guidelines.
Compile and manage the security pass requests to ensure proper vetting, issuance, and oversight.
Issue security passes
Work closely with Operations, Facilities, and IT on security issues and requests.
Coordinate and educate escorting requests within the terminal.
Provides problem-solving and corrective action solutions related to all critical security access systems.
Builds and maintains effective communication and relationship with the management team, vendors, and peers.
Audit access levels periodically to comply with all requirements.
Provides input regarding standard operating procedures and helping to find more efficient ways of operating.
