Our winery is located just on the outskirts of McMinnville, and we’re hoping to nab some helpful hands for the upcoming vintage. Our winery is medium-sized, with plenty of room to stretch out. Our large indoor fermentation hall is a feast for the senses when we’re in the swing of things.

Whether you’re a seasoned harvest cellar worker looking to hone your existing skills or a novice interested to see what all the fuss is about – we’ve got you covered. Our full-time team is made up of weirdos with varying backgrounds that give the winery a well-rounded approach to teaching. Fostering a fun work environment is just as important to us as working hard.

You will undoubtedly leave this harvest with more confidence, crazy inside jokes, and a greater appreciation for all things fermented – whether this is your first harvest or fifth.

We know finding housing can be difficult, we’ll provide help as needed.

Job Roles / Responsibilities

• Barrel work – cleaning, steaming, filling, emptying, and topping
• Sampling – obtain grape, juice, and/or wine samples
• Tank work - racking, transferring/blending both juice and wine
• Additions – yeast, acid, nutrients, etc.
• Harvest activities – sorting, pressing, punching, pulsing, and pumping all the grapes
• Forklifting – unloading and loading fruit, safely driving barrels
• Cleaning, cleaning, and more cleaning of both equipment and facility
• Bottling – help with bottling if need arises

Requirements

Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment and have a sense of pride in your work. Previous harvest and/or production experience is a plus. A great attitude and passion for all things beverage will help you fit right in!

Requires work schedule flexibility, especially with Oregon weather

Candidate should have effective English communication skills, both verbal and written.

The successful applicant must provide their own transportation.

Physical Demands

This position requires continuous walking, climbing, kneeling, crouching, and crawling throughout the shift for cleaning, sanitizing and sterilizing all winery equipment and facilities. It requires the ability to reach with hands and arms, fine manipulation and to lift up to 50 pounds for Racking and pumping of juice and wine; moving hoses and equipment and to operate crush pad equipment. It occasionally include enclosed spaces, heights, and wearing a respirator to make chemical and nutrient additions to juice and wine and to obtain lab samples from tanks and barrels.

Pay Range

$16 - $20 - $24 per hour
