Job Description

Agility Partners is looking for a Scrum Master to establish a collaborative partnership with key stakeholders and provide coaching at all levels in an emerging agile environment. Assess the current organization and delivery environment and recommend optimal Agile practices. Candidates should have excellent written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and outstanding analytical and research skills, as well as a passion for emerging technologies. In addition to being a seasoned, well-trained professional, the successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with the ability to inspire confidence from, and to collaborate closely with technology leaders and internal stakeholders.


In this role, you will:

  • Guide and coach the Team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to our customers.
  • Resolves team impediments with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization.
  • Coach the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, domain knowledge and communicates effectively, both internally and externally working within the Scrum team.
  • Gets team to a high performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques.
  • Responsible for ensuring Scrum is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines.
  • Works with Scrum Team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support organizational project or product teams.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT full development life cycle.
  • Knowledge of an agile framework or method (i.e. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe), or understanding of software development life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master and /or Agile coach.
