Job Description
Sanofi requires a dynamic Scrum Master who is interested in challenging the status quo ensuring seamless Agile and Scum master practices for leading scrum meetings, prioritizing product backlog and ensuring team efficiency. You will be a valued influencer and leader who contributes to effective coordination of technical teams within a large healthcare organization. You are expected to identify improvement opportunities and demonstrate the ability to deliver on these opportunities using Agile methodologies.
A good understanding of Pharmaceutical Gross-to-Net functionality is required with a keen interest in learning the area. Sanofi has chosen the Board Platform for it’s Gross-to-Net requirements. You will have responsibilities including, but not limited to:
  • Work with product owner on product life cycle management
  • Strong background in application integration in pharma industry.
  • Act as a SME for the Board product and support business in co-ordination with support team
  • Understand business needs and work with product owner to prioritize & build backlog
  • Act as an administrator for the Board SaaS solution
  • Work with product owner to promote the use of the Board platform within Sanofi eco-system to maximize return on investment

Job Highlights:
You will coach the scrum team and guide them to successful outcomes. The role will entail working closely with Product Owner to maintain a rich product backlog, to guide the development and partner teams to successfully deliver prioritized features, keeping in mind quality and delivery predictability. You will ensure projects are effectively developed, integrated and deployed with quality and on time delivery.
  • Support the Product Owner on refining the product backlog and make it ready for upcoming sprints, enabling longer-term work visibility for reporting to delivery and management teams
  • Act as an administrator for the platform and manage users, scope and admin topics related to the Board Platform.
  • Create, maintain, and deliver on project and work stream plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing understanding and needs
  • Develop sprint plans and guide product team to deliver high quality features in a timely manner using the Agile process
  • Identify and manage the risks associated with projects to achieve project success
  • Measure team sprint success by using standard sprint metrics and drive team efficiency and productivity improvement through data points
  • Coordinate with teams to manage dependencies and remove impediments from the Scrum team
  • Foster teamwork, build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members
  • Leverage agile tracking tools (jira, confluence, etc)
  • Assessing the Scrum maturity of the team and coaching them to higher levels of maturity
  • Act as a SME for the Board Platform and support the NextGen GTN and other project initiatives.
  • Supervise and facilitate all Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, sprint demos, daily stand ups and effective retrospectives (to continuously improve delivery quality and team health)
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to team members to improve the team’s Agile and Scrum maturity
  • Influence others including those more senior on best practices in Agile and work with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Agile/Scrum
  • Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and project information
Key Functional Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Outstanding organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of competency using Scrum
Key Technical Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Understanding of change management and release processes
  • Experience in using agile delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, etc
  • Understanding of Software development processes and procedures
  • Certified PMP, ASM-Agile Scrum Master, Certified Scrum Master/Product Owner (CSM, CSPO, SAFe) or equivalent professional qualification
  • Experience in delivering technical projects (Data, Application, IT) by managing external vendors
  • Understanding of Digital Strategy and governance
  • Technical knowledge of software application development and agile life-cycle methodologies
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Other relevant qualifications can be: PMP and Experience in IT Healthcare
