Job Description

Seeking an experienced Business Analyst to lead initiatives to scale up and achieve ROI from digital systems, will oversee and coordinate the production support and enhancement of a large, enterprise-wide product or large group of products. This role will be a key team member on an Agile Product Team within the CX Department.


Role: Senior Business Analyst/Scrum Analyst

Duration: 24+ months

Job Location: Torrance, CA

Contract: OnlyW2 contracts, NO Corp to Corp applicants


Responsibilities

  • Work in a product (scrum) team, complete business and some technical analysis supporting key initiatives build business cases, recommend and implement business processes and/or system solutions, gather and document user stories & acceptance criteria, lead or contribute to ideation sessions, conduct UAT, support release management at all stages, provide user support, create and run reports/dashboards, prepare and deliver user training, and develop communication materials for a variety of stakeholders.


Communications & Working Relationships

  • Digital Product Planning Senior Manager & Customer Experience AVP – Coordinate review meetings, demonstrations, etc.
  • Artifact management
  • Customer Experience Business and Functional Team Members – Support the delivery of high-value products
  • Developing acceptance criteria
  • Internal Contacts
  • Facilitate support for UAT users
  • Various Department/Division Managers as needed to provide information, collaboration, issue resolution and support idea generation. Clarify requirements detail and, conduct change impact analysis.
  • Product Owner & Team– deliver detailed artifacts, support the management of user stories, elicitation of requirements (requirements workshops, walkthroughs, etc.)


Accountabilities

  • The advanced agile development cycle for large products or groups of products.
  • Communication and change management
  • Lead the gathering, analysis, and documentation of business requirements for our software products.
  • Participate in Agile development processes including backlog management, sprint planning, and demos.
  • Collaborate with developer teams during the design and development phases.
  • Ensure a harmonious workflow among production support and projects across multiple business teams.
  • Serves as product SME: communicates with stakeholders to ensure alignment of product roadmap and business goals.
  • Responsible for product documentation such as user stories, use cases, process flows and business requirements.
  • Collaborate with product owners and cross-functional teams to plan sprints to deliver features and improvements based on business impact and customer needs.
  • Recommend solutions based on market research and analysis to identify consumer trends and user needs. Identify opportunities for product improvements, new features, and functionality.


Qualifications, Experience & Skills

  • Two or more years of experience in system-oriented work in projects or production support.
  • Experience with SFDC (core products: Service Cloud, Sales Cloud).
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle.
  • Experience working with consumer-facing software products.
  • Salesforce experience is highly valued.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management processes and systems. The automotive industry is a bonus.
  • Skillful questioner – can elicit information and requirements from a broad group of stakeholders.
  • 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis or Product Management.
  • Prior experience in a team environment and the ability to interface with all levels of management needed.


Other Job-Specific

  • Working knowledge of JIRA or similar systems.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Automotive / Auto Dealership experience.
  • Experience with CRM systems.
