Position Summary
Integrate and maintain a broad knowledge of immunology to support discovery and development of our novel immunotherapies and therapy combinations.
  • Plan, perform, and troubleshoot in vivo pharmacology experiments utilizing mouse models (experience in both syngeneic xenograft tumor models and humanized mouse models would be preferred).
  • Train team members on procedures, and conduct additional laboratory work as needed
  • Appropriately analyze data, interpret results, maintain accurate laboratory notebook records, prepare study reports, and prepare and deliver presentations at team meetings
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Plan, perform and troubleshoot ex vivo and in vitro studies characterizing samples from in vivo pharmacology experiments (TIL analysis, ELISA, ELISPOT, ICS, etc.)
Education & Experience
  • Experience with logistical planning and overseeing the implementation of numerous simultaneous murine experiments.
  • Extensive experience with ex vivo tissue processing (e.g. blood, spleen, lymph nodes & tumor) and experience with downstream analysis by ELISA, ELISpot and multi-color flow cytometry is required.
  • Master’s degree with 8 years’ experience in novel immunotherapies; or
  • Bachelor’s degree with 10 years’ experience in novel immunotherapies; or
  • PhD with 2 years’ experience in novel immunotherapies inclusive of postdoc experience
  • Extensive experience with in vitro and in vivo pharmacology studies, e.g. sterile cell culture techniques, and mouse handling experience (animal dosing (IV, PO, IP, SC), tumor implantation, blood/tissue collection, etc.).
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Possess high level of honesty and integrity, highly motivated and detail oriented.
  • Good computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets and database software applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), FlowJo and Prism.
  • Excellent skills in prioritizing and time management.
  • Possess good interpersonal and strong written/verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team
Working Environment / Physical Environment
  • Substantial computer use and indoor work.
  • Frequent exposure to hazards.
  • All hires are based upon completion and passage of a background check
  • Occasionally lift/carry 10 lbs or less and/or push/pull 12 lbs or less;
This position is eligible for a discretionary bonus and equity award. The pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications, prior experience as well as geographic location.
$100,000 (entry-level qualifications) to $130,000 (highly experienced)
