Description:
The role is responsible for scheduling installation appointments and maintaining the schedule of the field technicians to ensure all assigned projects are completed timely.
Requirements:Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handle communication between technicians and builder clients regarding appointments and schedules
- Coordinate and schedule local and remote technician appointments for builder accounts.
- Create floor plans for low voltage installation
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Providing customer service to builder clients with progress updates via phone and email
- Update client profiles
- Audit floor plan work orders with purchase orders to ensure all installed items are being invoiced
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Excellent telephone and computer proficiency (Office 365 – Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Must be able to clear a background check and drug screening
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer service
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within standard accepted practices.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate degree preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
Other Preferred Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to interpret floor plans
- High degree of initiative
- 2+ years in a service/technician scheduling environment
- Home building industry experience
- Technical aptitude
- Meticulous organizational skills
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone.
- Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
