Job Description
Description:

The role is responsible for scheduling installation appointments and maintaining the schedule of the field technicians to ensure all assigned projects are completed timely.

Requirements:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handle communication between technicians and builder clients regarding appointments and schedules
  • Coordinate and schedule local and remote technician appointments for builder accounts.
  • Create floor plans for low voltage installation
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Providing customer service to builder clients with progress updates via phone and email
  • Update client profiles
  • Audit floor plan work orders with purchase orders to ensure all installed items are being invoiced

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Excellent telephone and computer proficiency (Office 365 – Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Must be able to clear a background check and drug screening
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer service
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within standard accepted practices.
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associate degree preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.

Other Preferred Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to interpret floor plans
  • High degree of initiative
  • 2+ years in a service/technician scheduling environment
  • Home building industry experience
  • Technical aptitude
  • Meticulous organizational skills

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone.
  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
