The Salesforce Administrator supports the Salesforce Platform Manager in delivering, improving, and maintaining the Salesforce organization for Retirement & Investment Services in a way consistent with industry regulations and best practices. The Salesforce Administrator will work as an individual contributor to maintain user configuration, page layouts, Salesforce reports, custom fields, workflows, and automation. The Salesforce Administrator will support data quality and drive innovation and efficiency. The Salesforce Administrator acts as a central point of contact for the department for topics related to Salesforce training, best practices, and errors. The Salesforce Administrator will preserve client confidentiality and data and infrastructure security.

Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.

Essential Functions:
  • Work with other business units as needed to support proper storage and use of Salesforce data
  • Contribute to requirements gathering and solution definition for enhancements to Salesforce
  • Test changes to Salesforce for errors
  • Document changes to processes and settings in Salesforce
  • Monitor upcoming Salesforce updates and assess impact
  • Support user training on the Salesforce system through presentations or content generation
  • Monitor Salesforce user activity, data quality, and system performance
  • Assist with evaluating and communicating with vendors
  • Support users with reported errors
  • Configure objects, fields, layouts, validation rules, reports, workflows, and automations in Salesforce
  • Administer user setup/deactivation, profiles, roles, permissions in Salesforce
  • Manage data records to produce a clean, accurate, duplicate free database
  • Communicate regularly with Salesforce Platform Manager on Salesforce topics

Job Qualifications


Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Required Minimum Qualifications:
  • Successful applicant will be required to successfully acquire the Certified Salesforce Administrator designation within 12 months of start date
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years’ experience with SaaS configuration
  • Must have strong research, problem solving, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Able to lift 50 pounds
  • Complies with all Credit Union policies and procedures including those related to Bank Secrecy Act regulations
  • Strong curiosity and willingness to learn and grow
  • Applies knowledge of credit union systems, policies, and procedures
  • General knowledge of regulatory compliance necessary to successfully perform job responsibilities
  • Tested intermediate to expert knowledge of MS Excel and MS OneNote

Preferred Qualificatio ns:
  • 3+ years of professional environment work experience
  • 2+ years previous experience with Salesforce Administration functions
  • 2+ years project management experience
  • 2+ years of credit union or financial services experience
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or related field
