Summary


Lead and drive business development in new or emerging markets by generating revenue, creating business partners and renewing contracts.



Position Description


The Sales Estimating Manager shall serve as a vital role on Viridity’s team as a revenue generator focused on creating innovative solutions for next-generation Viridity partners. This sales position is expected to have a regional and national contact list as well as the capacity to increase Viridity’s revenue volume in the unique and vibrant Kansas City market.


Essential Functions


  • Prepare documents as needed, including expense reports, account budgets, memos, letters, contracts, spreadsheets, etc.
  • Effectively and strategically enhance Viridity’s partner and clientele base.
  • Consistently exceed daily call and appointment targets while using traditional and innovative interpersonal communication tactics.
  • Compile, report, enter, collect, forecast, and track accurate account elements, billing fulfillment and contract information, as well as reports pertaining to proposals, contracts, budgets, and other account details.
  • Serve as the main revenue generator at Viridity, focused on being awarded key projects and making seamless transitions to the project managers.
  • Create, track, and maintain all proposals for prospective clients, detailing the progress of the sales process.
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and yearly sales targets set by the Leadership Team.
  • Maintain and continually grow the company’s prospective partner pipeline.
  • Assist in preparing and estimating construction budgets by studying plans and specifications.
  • Build relationships with prospects’ gatekeepers and key company decision-makers.
  • Network with local, regional, and national organizations in an effort to acquire sales.
  • Represent Viridity and its related affiliates in a professional manner at all times.

Skills And Experience


  • Spanish language fluency preferred, but not required.
  • Extensive sales training experience preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of professional sales experience, preferably in the golf and/or landscape industry.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, reading and comprehending construction drawings, documents and specifications.
  • Possess an extensive regional and national contact list.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomy, Construction Management, Business or other related field required.
