Medasense’s flagship product, PMD-200™, is used in critical care settings, where patients are unable to communicate, to visualize pain response and personalize treatment. Clinical studies have demonstrated its impact on patient safety and outcomes.
PMD-200™ is distributed in Europe by Medtronic, and is also commercially available in USA, Canada, Latin America, Israel, and additional territories.
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven US Sales Agent (s) to join the Medasense team to introduce the innovative Nociception Level (NOL) monitoring devices to healthcare facilities.The Sales Agent will be responsible for introducing and selling this cutting-edge technology to healthcare professionals in the operating room call point. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of successful sales with new medical technologies and possess clinical selling experience.
Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy and Execution
- Discover and utilize market intelligence and customer need to tailor sales approaches and differentiate the Nociception Level Monitor in the market.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to penetrate the targeted territories effectively.
- Identify and prioritize potential customers and key decision-makers in the operating room.
2. Customer Engagement and Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including anesthesiologists, surgeons nursing staff, and hospital administrators.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and objections professionally to establish trust and credibility.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of the Nociception Monitor effectively.
3. Sales Performance and Goal Achievement
- Utilize CRM and reporting tools to provide forecasts and updates to customer information and opportunities within geography.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets for the Nociception Monitor in the designated territories.
- Regularly review and analyse sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement appropriate strategies to optimize sales outcomes.
4. Clinical Selling
- Leverage clinical knowledge and understanding to effectively communicate the medical benefits and applications of the Nociception Monitor to healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with clinical staff and educators to provide in-depth clinical support during product evaluations and trials.
5. Product Training and Education
- Stay up to date with advancements in pain management and anesthesia practices to tailor the Nociception Monitor's value proposition to the latest clinical practices.
- Provide comprehensive product training to healthcare professionals, ensuring they are proficient in using the Nociception Monitor effectively and safely.
6. Market Expansion and Business Development:
- Actively participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote the Nociception Monitor and increase brand visibility.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the designated territories to build and drive revenue growth.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to travel within the designated territories.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in medical sales.
- Proven track record of successful sales experience, specifically with new medical device technologies.
- Must be highly autonomous, with the ability to work well in a cross-functional team.
- Clinical selling experience and a strong understanding of pain management and anesthesia practices.
- Experienced and comfortable selling in the operating room and/or acute care call points.
Preferred
- Familiarity with healthcare markets and key healthcare institutions within the region.
- Previous experience selling medical devices or monitors in the pain management, acute care, and anesthesia space.
- Existing network and relationships with healthcare professionals, in particular anesthesiologists & CRNAs in the designated territories.
