Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety Manager to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. As a permanent member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our employees and maintaining a safe working environment. You will play a key role in implementing and maintaining our safety programs and procedures to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing, steel, and safety management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety records and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root cause and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure safety is integrated into all aspects of the business.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Manage safety-related projects and initiatives to improve safety performance and reduce risk.
• Provide safety training to employees and contractors to promote a culture of safety.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve safety performance.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety management software.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in safety management in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the steel industry.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in safety management, engineering, or related field.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
