Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position provides operational support to the Transit and Charter Division by being an expert resource in the operational and business requirements of transit runs. The position leads by knowledge and example and has some supervisory responsibilities. Will serve as the main Safety & Regulatory Compliance POC for Krapf Transportation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Must be a certified trainer and be able to train Transit and Charter personnel as needed.
  • Conduct & document post-accident interviews.
  • Perform Road Test and Road Observation as required by SEPTA and in general to support the Transit and Charter operations. Document Road Test result in a written report. Recommend corrective/remedial training when appropriate.
  • Oversee drug & alcohol screening programs to assure compliance with required drug & alcohol testing.
  • Serve on regular rotation for on-call response program for “after hours” and weekend safety incidents and the “after hours” safety program.
  • Perform daily inspections of vehicles to identify unreported damage and perform root cause analysis to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Maintain strong working relationship with police departments, township authorities and county emergency departments
  • Prepare & submit all substance reports in accordance with DOT and contractual requirements.
  • Support the Krapf Bus Companies vision and mission in all activities.
  • Respond to accident/incidents matters.
  • Represent the Krapf Bus Companies and conduct all activities in a professional, business-like manner.
  • Ensure accidents and injuries are reported in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure that all Transit Route Bus Stops Signs are in compliance with internal and external requirements.
  • Must be available as a substitute driver.
  • Comply with all Company employment policies and safety and substance abuse prevention policies.
  • Assist in the implementation of substance abuse prevention & screening programs.
  • Generates daily, weekly and monthly SEPTA reports.
  • Accept and demonstrate the Krapf Core Values of Commitment, Open communication, Respect and Excellent service.
  • Knowledge of transit and charter operations requirements and able to assist where needed.
  • Perform other job related duties as assigned.
  • Assist in Route Planning.
QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid CDL driver’s license with passenger endorsement

  • Basic computer literacy or willingness to learn
