Position Announcement: Armed Security Officer

Position Location: Huntsville, AL

Controlled F.O.R.C.E. Inc. is seeking applicants for full-time (32-40 hours per week) and part time (16-20 hours per week) Armed Security Officers. Candidates must have the availability to work any shift as assigned and required. This position is located on Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, Alabama. The base pay rate will be $17.00 per hour.

Pre-Employment Requirements: Must provide positive proof and verification of your eligibility to work in the United States.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain any required security licensing i.e.; concealed carry permit and Alabama Security Regulatory Board Armed Security Officer License within 30 days after initial employment.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment medical requirements i.e.; OPM medical physical and drug testing. Must be able to successfully pass Physical Abilities Testing.
• Must be proficient in the use of assigned firearm, pass an initial pistol qualification, and must qualify semi-annually thereafter in the use of assigned firearm.
• Must currently hold and be able to maintain a secret security clearance.
• Must have Armed Security officer experience; prior Military or Law Enforcement experience is a plus.
• Must be able to successfully complete and pass all required contractual training.
• Shift work is required, or a change in work shift may be required due to business and or operational necessity. Hours of work include evenings, nights, weekends and holidays. Overtime may be required as directed by business and during emergency situations.
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment requirements: reference checks, criminal history check, DMV check, credit reporting check, NCICIII check, background investigation, Drug screen and Physical (Agility Test).

Full Time Security Officer Pay & Benefits:

Executive Order (EO) 13706 Establishing Paid Sick Leave 12/16/2019 is honored.

HEALTH & WELFARE EO 13706 (Must Have Medical Coverage Insurance):

$4.23 per hour up to 40 hours per week.

Base Pay: $18.00 per hour.

Holiday Pay: 11 paid recognized Government holidays per calendar year.

Vacation:

After 1 year - 80 hours

After 5 years - 120 hours

After 15 years - 160 hours
