Job Description

Opportunity Summary

We are looking for a RPA Developer to join our Business Hyperautomation Center of Excellence (CoE). This reliable team member will be responsible for developing and supporting hyperautomation projects within the growing business hyperautomation program at NAES.

Hyperautomation leverages various innovative tools, techniques, and technologies to include: Robotics Process Automation (RPA), AI, Machine Learning, Intelligent Automation, Process Mining, etc. – in order to automate repeatable rules-based processes and business scenarios.

The RPA Developer will collaborate with our Business Hyperautomation Lead to support building NAES’s business hyperautomation program. The successful candidate will leverage his/her process-driven, analytical, technical, and financial management skills to create and maintain automation (routines/programs/bots) solutions. Solutions will include defining, designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining automations/robots, in a rapid, iterative project delivery environment. This role is responsible for understanding NAES Corporation’s business strategy and goals in terms of business process automation. Additionally, the RPA Developer is expected to stay on top of hyperautomation trends while iteratively defining the business automation strategy for NAES Corporation.

In this role, here's a look at what you'll be doing:

  • Design, develop and configure simple, medium, to complex unattended robotic process automations per business process and requirements documentation
  • Create and maintain process, technical, project or other documentation, as may be required, to support development, project management and training
  • Deploy and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable code with robotic process automation and other hyperautomation software and tools in accordance with best practices
  • Become and remain versed in business process related challenges across the organization
  • Explore the use and implementation of various trending technologies for business hyperautomation and perform tool comparison and evaluation
  • Maintain a broad and deep understanding of all NAES systems and applications
  • Facilitate with all testing activities, including integration testing, end-to-end (business process) testing and user acceptance testing including communicating to testers, creating test cases and writing test plans
  • Host and participate in various types of meetings or workshops with subject matter experts to define and design automation solutions
  • Work closely with the Business Hyperautomation Lead to support the Business Hyperautomation CoE vision, strategy, and execution
  • Ensure all automations are secure and aligned to all security and compliance requirements at NAES Corporation
  • Support customer engagement, financial management, sustainable business growth, profitability, compliance, and operational efficiencies through effective application of hyperautomation techniques and solutions
  • Monitor bot runs and resources, and schedule multiple overlapping unattended bot processes as well as identify, investigate, and resolve exceptions including tracking, repairing and reporting defects
  • Create, edit, revise and finalize life cycle deliverables such as requirements specifications, solution design documents, and operating instructions (i.e., SOP)
  • Advocate and communicate the value of hyperautomation across NAES Corporation
  • Coordinate sign-off approvals by business and/or technical staff to certify successful results of milestone deliverable(s) or phase completion, including program development and deployment

Compensation

The initial compensation will range from $100,000 - $110,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

  • Hands-on experience with developing stable, secure, and scalable RPA solutions using various technologies such as UiPath, Microsoft PowerAutomate Flow & Desktop, PowerApps, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere or equivalent
  • Ability to effectively drive business, culture, and technology change in a dynamic and complex operating environment
  • Ability to convert abstract real-world scenarios into easy-to-understand models and present technical projects to a non-technical audience
  • Experience with business process definition / redesign, ‘As-is’ - ‘To-be’ modeling, workflows, diagraming, BPM (Business Process Management) tools and automation
  • Experience with application integration and APIs including XML, REST, and SOAP
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, ability to articulate, speak, and write well
  • Ability to prioritize use cases or automation ideas based on automation potential and maximum benefits
  • Self-starter, comfortable working in a busy and dynamic environment with competing priorities
  • Experience with software development including experience with C/C++, Python, Ruby, Java, JavaScript, Document Object Model, HTML, and SQL programming and debugging
  • Exposure to Machine Learning and additional Artificial Intelligence tools and approaches such as document processing using OCR
  • Ability to prioritize, schedule and complete development and required testing for multiple automation efforts with overlapping schedules
  • Ability to work independently, or in groups, as the lead participant
  • Ability to collaborate with a variety of individuals including the Business Hyperautomation Lead, SMEs, developers, business analysts, project managers, vendors, and end users in cross functional teams

Additional experience:

  • Experience working in an Agile environment with solid understanding of the SDLC
  • Experience with Machine Learning, OCR, and additional AI methods
  • 3+ years’ overall experience with Information Technology / Information Systems
  • Experience with bot licensing and technical configurations necessary for both attended and unattended automations
  • Experience working with global partners/service providers
  • 2+ years’ experience in robotic process automation, business analysis, and/or software development
  • Preferred Experience:
    • Experience with the MS PowerPlatform Suite, UiPath, and/or other RPA tools
    • Experience with Machine Learning, OCR, and additional AI methods
    • Experience with bot licensing and technical configurations necessary for both attended and unattended automations
    • Experience working with global partners/service providers
  • Experience with the MS PowerPlatform Suite, UiPath, and/or other RPA tools

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires 40 working hours a week. Additional time may be required during heavy workloads or to meet deadlines.

Physical Requirements: Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing as well as handle long periods of screen time.
