The A.C. Coy Company is currently hiring for a Robotics Assembly Technician role. This individual will be responsible for assembling and testing industrial automation systems for various industries. Our ideal candidate will have 1+ years of experience building equipment or machinery and be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.

  • Work collaboratively with other technicians, engineers, and project managers to meet project deadlines
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with industrial automation systems and recommend solutions
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics to assemble components and subsystems of industrial automation systems
  • Maintain accurate records of assembly and testing processes
  • Use hand and power tools to assemble, adjust, and align components and subassemblies
  • Perform tests and inspections to ensure the proper functioning of industrial automation systems


Required


  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools and their proper use
  • Must have the eye sight ability to view color
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail


Preferred


  • Experience with industrial automation systems
  • Experience in mechanical or electrical assembly
  • Technical education or certification in a mechanical, electrical, or automation discipline
