Job Summary

• Will be responsible for performing direct patient care postoperatively as part of a surgical care team
• Assessing airway adequacy and intervening quickly and appropriately when necessary
• Will demonstrate ability to prioritize, organize and multi-task.
• Assessing, documenting, and managing postoperative pain
• Cardiac monitoring and interpretation

Minimum Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 14 days of hire/transfer
• Recovery room and/or ICU experience strongly preferred.
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (Handle with Care preferred) within 3 months of hire.
• Current Indiana RN license
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 1 yr. of hire/transfer
