Rn Shift Supervisor Jobs

RN Shift Supervisor is responsible for leading and supervising designated shifts of skilled nursing and assisted living services in the facility. To provide consistent high-quality care through leadership, supervision and support of the nursing team in identifying resident needs and providing quality clinical care.

Duties Include

• Participate in developing a program of individualized care of residents. Initiate nursing care plan upon admission.
• Supervise the admissions, discharges and transfers of residents as assigned.
• Supervise individuals giving direct care to residents and oversee the implementation of care plans.
• Responsible for counseling and discipline of nursing staff including participation in 90-day/annual evaluations of nurses and C.N.A.’s
• Communicate to other team members, family, and physician of any change in resident condition, and treatment of problem, as is deemed necessary and appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

• Requires the ability to lift up to 80 pounds occasionally and 60 pounds frequently.
• Licensed as RN or LPN
• Leadership, decision making and problem-solving skills.
• Value-oriented, dependable, flexible and cooperative
• Rate of pay based on Experience.

Schedule:

• Weekends and Holidays
• On call Rotation Schedule
• Weekend shifts pay: $1.50 additional per hour.
• Full Time (40hrs) Days/Evenings Shift 12:00PM-8:00PM
• Hourly rate based on experience.
• $1.50 additional per hour for evening & night shifts
