Position Description: RN

The Wound Care RN responsibilities include:

• Also performs role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.
• Responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization.
• Independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process, clinical standards and protocols and delegates appropriate care activities to other members of the health care team.

Requirements:

Certifications and Licensures:

• Preferred Nurse Specialty
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department
• RN (Registered Nurse)

Education:

• Preferred Bachelor's Nursing
• Associate's Nursing or Diploma Nursing

Experience:

• Required 1 year Nursing experience
• Preferred Experience 1 year acute care experience,1 year interventional / procedural experience
