Name: Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Location: New York, NY

Schedule: 7 am to 5 pm (2 Travel RNs), 11 am to 9 pm (1 Travel RN)

Pay Rate: $ 100

Duties:

• Hand surgical instruments to the physician
• Oversee nursing care during the procedure and ensure the operating room remains sterile
• Acts a liaison between the patient, the patient’s relatives and the medical team.

Skills:

Two years of the following experience is required:

• Scrub and circulating experience
• Conscious sedation experience
• IV insertion and phlebotomy skill

Education Required:

• Associate's Degree (Community College, MBO)

Certifications & Licenses:

• AHA BLS - required
• RN License - required
• IV Certification - required
• AORN - preferred
• Proof of full vaccination required
• Primary Source Verification - required
• AHA ACLS - required
• Staff is required for EVERY OTHER WEEKEND coverage in their schedule.
