Rn Internal Agency For Invasive Cardiology/Interventional Radiology

This posting is specifically for the following departments:

Invasive Cardiology

Interventional Radiology

12 work week-assignments. In this non-benefited resource role, candidates will be asked to agree to a minimal schedule of 36 hours per week. Following an 12-week period, assignments may be extended or new assignments may be offered.

Responsibilities
Provides professional nursing care according in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act, and hospital policies and procedures. Employs critical thinking skills, assesses patients’ condition, recognizes changes, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients’ progress, and records pertinent observations. Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff. Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals. The following are general characteristics of this job, although duties may vary by assigned unit or shift.

Compensation:

Pay ranges from $80-90/hour depending on the assignment

Our ideal candidate will have:

Preferred Education, Skills and/or Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing

Required Education, Skills and/or Experience:

• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing (with CNO or VP approval)

Required License and/or Certification:

• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
• Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Other certifications may be required for certain specialties

Required experience

• 2 or more years of cath lab experience
